Top 5 Must Try Han’s Cafe Menu Singapore
Have you ever been to Han’s Cafe in Singapore and wondered what it would be like to try the other menu items? Well, we have the answer for you! We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 must try menu items at Han’s Cafe.
So without further ado, here are our top five recommendations:
Signature Hainanese Pork Chop
The Signature Hainanese Pork Chop is a must-try dish for anyone who has been to Han’s and wants to try something new.
The first thing you’ll notice when you bite into this pork chop is how tender it is. The meat has been carefully cooked so that it’s soft and juicy, with just enough crunch from the coating to make it interesting. It’s served with a tomato sauce that perfectly complements the pork—it’s not too sweet or too acidic, but instead has just enough tanginess to make your mouth water for more when you’re done with your first bite.
The rice that comes alongside this meal is incredible: fluffy and soft with just the right amount of chewiness in every bite. It pairs beautifully with both the pork chop and the sauce, making this meal something that you can really sink your teeth into without feeling like you’ve eaten too much food or getting bored halfway through eating it all (which can happen sometimes).

Grilled Fish Dory
The grilled fish dory is a real winner. Perfect for fish lovers, this dish comes with a generous portion of grilled fish dory topped with garlic butter oil, served with french fries, salad, sliced lemon and tartar sauce. My favorite part was the garlic butter oil—it really made the dish stand out.
The fries were also delicious. They were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is exactly how I like them. The salad and tartar sauce were both tasty additions to the meal as well!
If you love seafood, this dish will be your new favorite!
Local Delight Braised Pork Belly
It’s a delicacy that comes from the heart of communities and brings people together, just like our province does.
When you bite into these juicy, tender pork belly slices braised with preserved vegetables, you’ll feel like you’re right back in your grandma’s kitchen. It’s a special treat that lets you take a minute to remember all the good things about life—and there are plenty!
If you’re a fan of pork belly, this is the dish for you. It’s juicy and tender, and the sauce has just the right amount of kick. The broccoli is perfectly cooked, and the rice is fluffy and satisfying. I love how it comes with preserved vegetables on top—it’s a nice little treat that adds a bit of extra flavor to the dish.
Hor Fun with Pork, Prawn & Fish
This is the kind of food that makes you feel like a kid again.
The Han’s Hor Fun with Pork, Prawn & Fish is a must-try for anyone who’s ever had a craving for Chinese food that can’t be satisfied by anything else. The velvety smooth hor fun is cooked to a charred flavor, which gives it just enough sweetness to balance out the savory gravy that tops it.
The hor fun itself has enough heft to it that even those who don’t usually like noodles will want more than one bowl—and if you’re planning on having more than one bowl, we recommend ordering another side dish or two so that you have room for dessert!
Fish & Chips
The humble all time western favorite; Battered fried dory filets served with french fries, salad, sliced lemon and tartar sauce.
It’s hard to believe that this dish has been around for so long. I can’t imagine life before fish and chips were invented! The crunchy batter, the soft interior—it’s a match made in heaven. The fries are nice and crispy too, which is always a plus. And who doesn’t love the good side of lemon?
I’ve tried many different places for fish and chips over the years, and I can say without hesitation that Han’s Cafe has some of the best in town. They’re always busy at lunchtime as well, so if you’re looking for somewhere quick to grab lunch on your way back from work then this is definitely one to try out!
History of Han’s Cafe
The story of Han’s Cafe Singapore is one of a family business that started small, but grew into something greater.
In 1977, Mr Han Choon Fook, then a civil servant, offered cakes made by his brother Choon Kuang to colleagues and friends, which received excellent comments on the quality. The brothers then decided to take on the challenge of opening their own café.
The first Han’s cafe opened in The Arcade in 1980. It quickly established a reputation for “quality food at budget prices” and served Hainanese mainstays such as pork chops and chicken rice to pasta dishes and homemade soups.
Han’s has expanded steadily and now has more than 20 outlets islandwide. Today, its food menu has over 200 items—from Western favorites like pasta to local delights such as sundaes and smoothies—and its bakery menu also offers a wide range of cakes and pastries available at all outlets.
Han’s Café opened its first central kitchen and central bakery at 1 Senoko Avenue in 2016, making it possible for them to expand their products even further.
Han’s Cafe Singapore Outlets
With a full-service restaurant and café, Han’s Cafe & Cake House offers consistently high-quality Chinese comfort food, as well as an assortment of cakes and pastries.
Their menu features traditional Chinese favorites like steamed fish and dumplings, while also offering more modern dishes such as braised pork belly with rice noodles and char siew bao (BBQ pork buns). The restaurants also serve up freshly brewed coffee and tea, plus a selection of imported beers.
All locations are open depending on the store outlets.
