Post-Renovation Cleaning Cost in Singapore (2026): Price List by Size

The contractors have packed up, but the unit is not ready. Fine cement and sanding dust sits on every ledge, inside cabinets, in window tracks and in aircon grilles, and there are paint spots and tape marks on new finishes. A post-renovation clean is the step between handover and moving in, whether that is a new HDB flat, a condo or an office that has just been fitted out.

This guide sets out what Singapore cleaning companies publish for post-renovation cleaning in 2026, for homes and for offices, shops and F&B outlets. Every figure links to the page it comes from, checked on 10 October 2026. Prices are indicative and shown as each company publishes them. To find a cleaner, browse the Cleaning Services directory.

Post-renovation cleaning cost in Singapore: the short answer

For homes, published 2026 prices mostly start at about S$300 for a unit under 500 sqft and rise with floor area: roughly S$350–480 for 501–1,000 sqft and S$450–650 for 1,001–1,400 sqft. Larger condos and landed homes run from about S$730 to S$1,650 or more. For offices and shops, one company publishes S$650–2,000 for a commercial post-renovation clean, and one industry guide gives about S$0.25–0.50 per sqft. Add-ons and GST can increase the total.

Why prices differ for the same size

In the 1,001–1,300 sqft row, one company publishes a flat S$450 and another S$480–580. The gap usually comes down to scope and condition. A range lets the cleaner charge more for heavy cement residue, paint spots or a unit with many built-in cabinets. Helpling notes that additional charges may apply, and Sureclean lists internal fridge or oven cleaning as an extra S$30. Ask what is in the base price before comparing.

Time matters too. A small HDB flat is often done in one working day, while a large condo, landed home or office may take a full day with a bigger crew, or two sessions. Cleanoff, for example, notes that larger condominiums can run across a full day or occasionally two sessions. When you compare quotes, check how many cleaners will come and for how long, because a cheap quote with a small crew may not finish the job.

Post-renovation cleaning for offices, shops and F&B

Commercial spaces are usually quoted per project after a site visit or a look at photos and a floor plan, not from a rate card. Sureclean publishes S$650–2,000 for a commercial post-renovation clean and says renovation dust settles into ceiling grilles, cable trays, blind slats and carpet, so it often needs more than one pass. Commercial Cleaning Guide SG gives about S$0.25–0.50 per sqft as an indicative range.

  • Access hours: building management may only allow work at night or on weekends, and lift or loading bay limits add crew hours.
  • Handover deadline: a tight opening date may need a bigger crew on the same day.
  • Second pass: after the defects walk, contractors often come back to fix items and leave more dust. Ask whether a follow-up clean is in the price.
  • F&B kitchens: new stainless steel, hoods and tiled walls need extra detailing before the first service.

If you are budgeting for the whole project, see our office renovation cost guide. When you move out of a leased office at the end of the lease, the cleaning is usually part of the work covered in our office reinstatement cost guide. For regular cleaning once the office is open, see our guide to office cleaning companies.

Some cleaning companies in our directory

These companies are listed in SG Directory. They are not ranked, and none paid to appear. Descriptions summarise each company’s own website. Ask each for a written quote.

  • OCD Cleaning (SG Directory listing · website): post-renovation cleaning for HDB flats, condos, landed homes, offices and commercial properties, with fixed quotes.
  • Avalon Services (SG Directory listing · website): ad hoc building and office cleaning, including clean-ups after a renovation, office relocation or change of tenants.
  • hCH Cleaning Services (SG Directory listing · website): commercial cleaning firm whose high-dusting service covers removing construction dust in atria and hard-to-reach spaces after renovation or handover.

What drives post-renovation cleaning cost

  • Floor area: the main factor, and the basis of most published rate cards.
  • How much debris is left: cement dust, paint drips, tile grout haze and adhesive take more time than light dust.
  • Fittings and built-ins: more cabinets, glass panels, windows and light fittings mean more detail work.
  • Whether the unit is empty: cleaning before furniture arrives is faster and lets the crew reach every surface.
  • Timing: urgent, weekend or after-hours slots cost more, especially for offices and shops.
  • Add-ons: appliance interiors, carpet, curtains or floor polishing are usually priced separately.

What is usually included, and what is not

A standard post-renovation clean usually covers dust removal from walls, ledges, doors and switches; cleaning inside and outside cabinets and wardrobes; window panes, grilles and tracks; kitchen and bathroom surfaces and fittings; and vacuuming and mopping floors. Check whether these are included:

  • removing paint spots, cement stains and protective film or tape;
  • cleaning inside the fridge or oven, which some companies charge extra for;
  • aircon grille or duct cleaning, which is a different service (see our aircon servicing cost guide);
  • disposal of renovation debris, which is usually the contractor’s job, not the cleaner’s;
  • carpet shampooing, floor polishing or curtain cleaning;
  • a follow-up visit after defects are fixed;
  • GST, which may not be in the published price.

How to get an accurate quote

  1. Send the floor area, flat or unit type and photos of the worst areas on WhatsApp.
  2. Say whether the space is empty and when the renovation will be fully finished.
  3. For offices and shops, share the floor plan, building access hours and the handover date.
  4. Ask for a fixed, written price that lists what is included and what costs extra.
  5. Compare two or three quotes for the same scope.

Red flags

  • A low phone quote that rises on site without a clear reason.
  • No written scope, so you cannot tell what was skipped.
  • Harsh scrubbing or acid cleaners used on new marble, vinyl or timber without asking.
  • A large deposit before the crew arrives.
  • Booking the clean before the contractor has finished, which means paying twice.

Post-renovation cleaning cost: FAQ

How much does post-renovation cleaning cost in Singapore?

For homes, published 2026 prices start at about S$300 for under 500 sqft and reach S$1,650 for 4,501–5,000 sqft at Helpling. One company’s commercial rate is S$650–2,000 per project.

How much is post-renovation cleaning for a 4-room HDB flat?

A 4-room flat is usually around 900–1,000 sqft. Published prices for 751–1,000 sqft are S$400 at Helpling and S$380–480 for 801–1,000 sqft at Cleanoff. OCD’s market range for 4–5 room flats is S$350–650.

Why is post-renovation cleaning more expensive than normal cleaning?

Renovation leaves fine dust inside vents, tracks and cabinets, plus paint and cement marks. This takes more time, more equipment and sometimes more than one pass.

How is office post-renovation cleaning priced?

Usually per project after a site visit. Published references include S$650–2,000 from Sureclean and about S$0.25–0.50 per sqft from Commercial Cleaning Guide SG.

When should I book post-renovation cleaning?

After all trades have finished, including touch-ups, and before furniture moves in. An empty unit is quicker to clean, and nothing new gets dusty again.
