How we verify companies

A company is only considered if it is a Live Company on ACRA, holds a current BCA registration (expired workheads are dropped) and has a working website. We then score eight facts:

1. Working website checked within 90 days
2. Company phone line
3. More than one BCA workhead or a grade above L1
4. HDB Directory of Renovation Contractors or PEB licence
5. Three or more services (website + BCA scopes)
6. Year of registration (from UEN)
7. Enough self-published detail for an original summary
8. Company’s own description quoted

Only companies with at least five of eight are shown; others are not published until we can verify more. Trade and area pages only appear when an area has at least three verified companies. We never publish personal mobile numbers or personal email addresses. Data is refreshed on each rebuild.
