Handyman Cost Singapore (2026): Rates & Price List

A TV that needs mounting, flat-pack furniture still in boxes, a sagging door, or a punch list before move-in: that is when most Singapore homes and small offices look up handyman rates. Quotes for the same-looking job can still differ a lot, depending on per-job versus hourly pricing and what the wall or furniture needs.

This guide puts the published 2026 prices from Singapore handyman companies and price lists side by side: call-outs, hourly rates, TV mounting, flat-pack assembly, locks, curtains, shelves and half-day or full-day visits. Every figure links to the page it comes from, checked on 16 October 2026. Prices are indicative and shown as each source publishes them, not averaged. Per job or per hour?

SG QuickFix prices each job separately so you can see a starting price before you book. FixMove publishes both hourly bands and a minimum visit charge, which suits a vague list of small tasks. GetHandyman publishes a per-job rate card and states that a typical trip runs from about S$100 onwards. Compare the total for your actual task list, not only the hourly figure.

TV mounting, flat-pack and move-in jobs

TV mounting prices rise with screen size, wall type and cable work: SG QuickFix bands from S$70 to from S$150 and adds S$40–60 for tile or marble; FixMove separates fixed, tilt and articulating mounts. A new power point behind the TV needs a Licensed Electrical Worker — see our electrician cost guide and GetElectrician.sg.

Flat-pack jobs run from a small side table to a PAX wardrobe; combining items in one visit is usually cheaper, which is why FixMove publishes half-day and full-day packages. For curtains, shelves and bathroom accessories after a toilet refresh, see our toilet renovation cost guide and painting cost guide.

Handyman work for offices, shops and coworking

Shops and small offices use the same mounting and repair skills, but building rules and after-hours access often raise the quote. GetHandyman lists office handyman work (whiteboards, partitions, ad-hoc fixes) with a call-out from S$100. Fit-out jobs usually sit inside the wider office renovation cost; ceiling access is in our false ceiling cost guide.

What drives handyman cost

  • Pricing model: per-job lists are easier to compare for defined work; hourly billing suits an open-ended punch list.
  • Minimum visit or call-out: a five-minute task still incurs the trip charge at most companies.
  • Wall type and access: tile, marble, granite, glass and high or confined spots take longer and often need special bits.
  • Size and weight: larger TVs, heavy mirrors and tall wardrobes sit in higher bands.
  • Parts and hardware: locks, brackets, hinges, runners and blinds are often labour-only prices.
  • Extra work: removing an old TV, dismantling furniture, door modification for a digital lock, or cable concealment.
  • Timing: evenings, early mornings and urgent slots can carry surcharges; FixMove publishes time-band uplifts on its price page.
  • Licensed trades: new wiring and most plumbing need an LEW or PUB-licensed plumber, not a general handyman.

What is usually included, and what is not

A job price usually covers labour and listed fixings. SG QuickFix adds lock, hinge and runner parts unless stated, and fits a customer-supplied TV bracket at no extra bracket charge. GetHandyman absorbs the call-out into the invoice if you proceed. Often charged separately:

  • the TV bracket, lock, blind, shelf or other hardware;
  • tile, marble or special-wall drilling;
  • removing or relocating existing fittings;
  • new electrical points or wiring (LEW required);
  • new pipework beyond simple PUB-allowed handyman plumbing;
  • GST, parking, and after-hours or priority fees;
  • disposal of bulky packaging or old fittings, at some companies.

For heaters and wet work on the handyman–plumber boundary, see our water heater installation cost guide and plumber cost guide.

Some handyman and small-works businesses to ask for a quote

The first two entries are featured partners; the others are not ranked and none paid to appear. Descriptions summarise each company’s own website or SG Directory listing.

  • GetHandyman.sg (SG Directory listing · website · pricing): handyman service for homes, shops and offices: TV, shelf, mirror and blind mounting, flat-pack assembly, door and lock fixes and touch-ups; call-out from S$100, price agreed before work starts.
  • GetElectrician.sg (SG Directory listing · website · pricing): Licensed Electrical Worker service for sockets, lighting, fans, TV points and rewiring when a handyman job needs a new circuit; call-out from S$100.
  • Ace Contract (SG Directory listing · website): BCA-registered contractor offering trade hardware supply, licensed handyman services and renovation consultancy for homes and commercial premises.
  • Onbest (SG Directory listing · website): BCA-registered firm listing handyman services alongside electrical engineering and interior decoration works.
  • RK E&C (SG Directory listing · website): BCA-registered contractor for HDB renovation, handyman jobs, fixture fixing and Taobao/flat-pack assembly.

How to get an accurate handyman quote

  1. Send photos of the wall or item, the model label (TV size, lock, furniture), and anything that must be removed first.
  2. List every task in one message so the company can price a single visit.
  3. Say whether you supply the bracket, lock or blind, or want it supplied.
  4. Mention tile, marble, partition walls, false ceilings or condo/office access rules.
  5. Ask whether the quote is labour only, whether GST and visit fees are included, and compare two or three written confirmations for the same scope.

Red flags

  • A handyman offering new wiring, a new DB or major plumbing without the right licence.
  • A price far below published starting rates with no written scope.
  • No confirmation of whether parts, special-wall drilling or disposal are included.
  • Pressure to pay a large cash deposit before any site check or photo quote.
  • No business details, invoice or warranty for installations.
